Lago di Garda

Lake Garda holds two different shores together. The Brescia side, from Gardone Riviera to Gargnano, has the historic villas facing the water and the gardens that run down to the shoreline. The Verona side, from Sirmione to Torri del Benaco, is more open, with olive groves behind it and small harbours. It is an hour from Verona and an hour and a half from Milan, and the season runs from April to October.
